Description
Creating a highly available and scalable user interface is now easier than ever thanks to client side JavaScript libraries such as React, Angular and Vue that request their data from a microservice. This session will present Ballyhoo!, a Jeopardy-like question and answer multiplayer game; playable in the browser and modeled after real applications found in the wild. We will explore possible user interface pitfalls and craft our own exploit as a browser extension. Whether you are interested in creating a user interface with microservices, provide additional functionality as a browser extension, or enjoy poking around the Internet, Ballyhoo! is guaranteed to be fun and informational.
